In 1944 Jordon Cole is commander of what is left of a PT boat squadron. He and his men were veterans of the E-boat, MAS boat and F-lighter conflicts in the Mediterranean Sea. Half of the squadron had been destroyed in a vicious night encounter when information supplied by intelligence officer Lieutenant Commander Michael Edland, proved faulty. Now Cole and his boats had been shipped to England to provide support to the invasion. Ironically, so has Edland and now he was trying to enlist Cole's aid to track down a new type of E-boat.
